IB TWS offers a number of free utilities that you can run without logging into or having an IB account. Simply tap the item on the opening screen:
Quotes and Charts (DELAYED) - View quotes and charts of specific symbols using delayed market data.
Scanners (DELAYED) - Create and run market scanners based on delayed market data.
Real-time Alerts - Create free alerts based on price movement. These tell TWS to send you a message when the price condition of the alert is met. Note that free alerts do not let you view, create or modify TWS alerts tied to your IB account. You must log into TWS with your IB username and password to access the full Alerts functionality.
